| Crown Zellerbach No. 1 (barge) | Crown Zellerbach No. 1, 363-foot automated log barge of 2,600 tons, built at Allied Shipbuilders Ltd. at Vancouver for Crown Zellerbach of Canada. Radio equipment was installed to permit remote control anchoring and unloading from the towing vessel, the new tug Hecate Crown. Although not as large as the log barges Island Forester and RivTow Norseman of the previous year, Crown Zellerbach gained a place in the maritime record book as the largest vessel to be launched broadside from a British Columbia yard.
