Elida (schooner)
The Elida, a schooner, probably twomasted, 179 tons, was built at Port Madison, Wash., in 1868 for Capt. Oloff Mattson. In 1873 she was abandoned out of Coos Bay with a coal and lumber cargo for San Francisco; and although she was picked up by the Grappler and Isabel and towed into the Strait of Fuca early in 1874, it is doubtful whether she ever put to sea again.
