Hornet (barge)

The 88 foot power barge Hornet owned by the Kayler-Dahl Fish Company is at the Duwamish Shipyard, In. for an extensive and rapid repair job. The vssel was severely damaged in a grounding and sinking in Alaska. About 75 per cent of the bottom of the craft has to be replaced. The engines were removed and sent out for overhaul before being put back into the barge by the yard. (The Marine Digest. XLI (June 29, 1963), p. 8).
