Misabe I (tug)
The 40-foot twin -screw diesel tug Misabe I was completed at Seattle in 1931 for the recently formed Misabe Tug & Barge Service for use in the lighterage business on Golovin Bay, Alaska. Shortly after the launching Capt. H. M. Peterson, manager of the company, was married to EHa Krueger Darning aboard the Misabe L. Gordon Newell, Maritime Events of 1931, The H.W.
