Mizpah (schooner)
The small two-masted schooner Mizpah of 64 tons was built by S. Danielson at Prosper for the Coquille River and Alaska Mining Company one of the many cooperative ventures formed by citizens of Northwest communities. She had an auxiliary engine installed about 1902 and continued in the Alaska trade as a power schooner. Gordon Newell, Maritime events of 1898, H.W.
