Nor'west (tug)
Two British Columbia tugs, both owned by Harbour Towing Co. of Vancouver, were lost within six hours of each other in March. The Nor'west caught fire and burned near Powell River and the Ironbark ran aground on Bowen Island, filled and sank. There were no casualties in either mishap.
