| Pallas (steamer) | The steel Shipping Board steamship Pallas was acquired by the Alaska - Mexico Transport Co. for transporting gypsum from the Gulf of Califoria to Long Beach, Calif. and Seattle. The vessel was renamed S. A Perkins for the Tacoma business man who headed the firm and was also chairman of the board of the Standard Gypsum Co. The S.
