Protective (tug)
The coal-burning steam tug Protective was added to the Gilley Bros. fleet at New Westminster. The P. R. T. No. 1 was sold to Lillico Launch & Tug Co. by Prince Rupert Towing Co., her semi-diesel engine having been sold to Rouse Towing Co. and replaced by a gas engine of 110 horsepower.
