Pursuit (troller)

In contrast to the giant tuna vessels being built in other Tacoma yards was the trim little 60-foot albacore troller Pursuit, the first such craft built in Tacoma, completed at the Hylebos Waterway boatyard of Don Goodell and Les and Don Jones. Except for the hydraulic fishing gear, the Pursuit might be taken for one of the increasingly popular and seaworthy trawler type yachts, She was built for Steve and Barbara Rigsby of Sausalito, California to be operated by them in offshore trolling.
