Carmy Destito Buttice is the owner. This is a small family business and while she does not have a fancy catalog, she does have many nice items for you to purchase and at reasonable prices. She does have mailings that she can send.
A PIE subscriber describes this business from personal experience:
She and her late husband Johnny Destito were friends of my parents and their oldest boy John Jr. and I were the same age and friends-just like cousins. At one time my grandparents lived just a short distance down the road from Destito's and John Jr. and I would often work and play together.
Carmy is one of the founders of the Walla Walla Italian Heritage Association, which just celebrated it's 10 year anniversary October 1996. She is a hard worker for Italian Heritage and helps with our newsletter.
I know that Walla Walla is not a big city, but this lady has a big heart. If she gets the chance, she would be happy to share stories. After a few minutes you will feel like she is your Italian neighbor.
So if any of you want to get some nice Italian items, from clothing & T-shirts, to keychains, posters, flags, hats....well, the list goes on, and if you want to support an Italian American Heritage founder, and if you like to support those persons with family values in a family business I urge you to give Carmy a call or fax and ask for her catalog.
I also ask you to support her business if you can and to spread the news to others. I am sorry about making this sound like a commercial, which it is turning out to be, but I really endorse this lady.
