Ravioli Filling


INGREDIENTS:

Pre-cook spinach; drain and cool. Brown meat, then add vegetables and spices. Cook thoroughly and cool. Then add spinach and bread -- eggs and cheese are added when the above is cool. I usually add them the next day when making the raviolis. I alway s make the filling the day before -- so that its thoroughly cooled.


Comments: This recipe was my mothers. As we all know, recipes were unheard of back then. Each had their own way of making things, depending on who taught them and they were never the same. My Mom had to finally use the trial-and-error method to get th e recipe down on paper so I would have it. This makes about 300 if making at one time!
