DIRECTIONS:
Slice the Round Steak and cut into pieces about 3-4 inches long.
Pound until very thin and each piece is about 2x3" square.
Mix all other ingredients in a bowl.
Spread mixed ingredients on strips of meat, roll and fasten with a toothpick.
Brown rolled beef birds in frying pan with oil.
Put beef birds in roaster with tomato sauce
(12 oz can of tomato paste and water) Bake at 325 degrees for 2-3 hours or until tender.
Serves 4-6
Comments: My grandmother made these for me every time I came to visit her.
