DIRECTIONS:
First step is to cook the peas so that they are tender but not mushy. Drain all the water off when finished cooking. In a large skillet, just WARM the olive oil for a brief moment. (Don't alter or lose the tast of the oil). For those faint of heart the warming can be omitted. Turn off the flame. Dump in the cooked peas, diced garlic and shredded basil.
Stir, and serve...eat and go ahhhh!

As a second generation Italian, Flossi never learned to write down or precisely measure any ingredients from her Momma. Thus, we improvised the measurements (to taste!). Every Aunt in the family has tried to duplicate Flossi's recipe but only Flossi can produce the perfect results!
