This Society is dedicated to our ancestors who were born or lived in Gibellina, Trapani Province, Sicily, Italy. The purpose of the Society is to share information about Gibellina and our ancestors so that others might also learn more about their families also.

Here are my surnames as recently requested.These are my paternal grandparents and their children which includes my father. The children's spouses are also included. In ( ) are the names they were known by.The family name was LIPARI until Mary was in school and a teacher insisted it needed to be spelled LIPRIE.Leon, Joe and Mike, living in Lake Charles kept the LIPRIE. All came from GIBELLINA with the exception of Mary and Mike who were born in Louisiana.
